BSUPA PADDLE BOARDING INSTRUCTOR

I am Pleased to anounce that i am now one of only 30 to be qualified in the UK as a BSUPA Paddleboard instructor. many people have said to me why would you waist your time and money doing a course in something so simple!.., Indeed i asked myself the same question as i have been Paddling for over a year and half now, and yes its not the hardest sport in Flat water.
The biggest reason i think is Duty of Care, i am planning on running lessons or bringing new people into this fantastic fast growing sport, so its my Duty as a BSUPA instructor to do that the right way and the safest way.
I am sure there are many people that have gone away from a lesson or a few hours of SUP and had a bad experience, this is why a teaching structure is put in place so that we as instructors can identify when students are not progressing or enjoying themselves. If they walk away un happy I have failed in my quest to get everyone stoked on SUP.
it is also fantastic to get involved at the start as i will look back in 10 years time and say! i was instrumental in getting 70% of the UK population to try paddleboarding.

So what Happens now i am an Instructor, well it means that i will be starting to run SUP taster sessions and lessons. from 1st of July i will be Running a SUP club on Wednesday Evenings in Conjunction with Andy Gratwick from Easyriders.

it would be great to see you all on the water and if you have any questions please feel free to call us. at Hydr8boardsports.com
